Should Colleges Use Facebook to Snoop on Their Students’ Drinking Habits?

Using photos and posts on Facebook, Doctor Megan Moreno and a team of researchers discovered that students who posted alcohol-related content were more likely to be at risk of developing alcohol-related health and behavioral problems.  They have suggested that colleges should use students’ Facebook pages in order to help them identify and provide assistance to problem drinkers.  How would you feel about your school using information that you have posted on Facebook in such a manner?  Would you feel that it is a violation of your privacy?  Or, if you’re a parent, how would you feel about your child’s school using her Facebook account in order to gain such information?
